A grandmother visits her son's family in the city and is told she should stay. In the middle of the night, she sets off on a quiet journey home.

Journey Home began as a question I kept turning over in my head: what does home mean to someone who has spent a lifetime making it for others? I made the film at Wesleyan in my final year of Film Studies. It's quiet on purpose — the kind of slowness I associate with my own grandmother's apartment.
